Used at home teeth whitening and now my teeth are aching?

I used a teeth whitening kit at home, not white strips. Its one where you put gel on a retainer type thing then keep it in you mouth for 15 minutes. I took it out and my bottom row of teeth are aching. Is that normal? Are they just sensitive? Also, the kit says to do it twice a day, is that too much? Will that wear my enamal?

  1. Theresa says:

It is normal for your teeth to feel sensitive during/after whitening, Use Sensodyne or colgate sensitive tooth paste. Brush your teeth before and after you do the treatment it will really help out. Doing it twice a day will not wear your enamel
