Teeth whitening with tooth paste?

I brush my teeth 2-3 times a day and more depending if I eat/drink something known to stain teeth. I want my teeth to be more white, they are a yellowish-white. I know about whitening strips and gels and everything to that sort and I’ve done them before and got fabulous results, unfortunately those products send my mouth into a frenzy of pain, so those items are just a no go. And I don’t want to go to the dentist for it as it is EXPENSIVE!! So my question is can I just use a whitening toothpaste and leave it on my teeth for a lil while and then brush it off and get better results than brushing alone? I use crest 3D whitening toothpaste.

Not sure on your question but i can only see it being helpful.

Try using sensodyne toothpaste a few days before bleaching so your teeth can build some strength before the actual bleaching

There’s no use leaving the whitening toothpaste on your teeth because its only job to work significantly is if its actually brushed on the teeth itself. If anything buy a teeth whitening gel (which aren’t expensive at all, I bought mine for 7 bucks) that you only have to leave on for 5 minutes tops. You’ll see greater results for its actual purpose.
